Paradeco Coffee Roasters is a coffee & tea shop serving up avocado toast and baked goods in the Tampa Bay area. Paradeco occupies a 1,700 square-foot space with an abundance of natural light, located walking-distance from the bay. Catering to Gen Z and Millennials, Paradeco designed their interior to look like a tropical, art-deco paradise. Baby blues, pinks and gold tones make up their color palette, while geometric tile designs and fluted counters give off a sense of nostalgia.
CLIENT: Paradeco Coffee Roasters
LOCATION: St. Petersburg, FL
DESIGN GROUP: Place Architecture
PRODUCTS: Custom Banquette
We worked with Place Architecture & the end-user to design a custom ‘70s style banquette underneath a living plant wall, adorned with over 195 types of foliage. Working from an inspiration image provided by the end user, we value engineered an elaborate banquette with arched, upholstered back sections and a gold metallic laminate filler panel. As specified, we equipped the custom banquette with commercial power outlets with USB ports.
The banquette was designed to be a conversation piece and spark visual interest. Since the grand opening of Paradeco, this banquette has served many purposes: a backdrop for product photography & LinkedIn headshots, as well as a selfie station. The banquette has been featured in over 100 social posts and 10 blog posts. Social media influencers show up in swarms to grab content of Paradeco’s interior along with their Instagram-worthy commercial seating. This is the ultimate return on investment.
